Bezovec

Nová Lehota

Bezovec is a peak with an elevation of 742.8 metres, rising in the Považský Inovec mountains. It lies above the village of Nová Lehota, about 11 kilometres northeast of the well-known spa town of Piešťany. It's the highest peak of the Nízky Inovec sub-range, and around it lies a recreational and skiing resort of the same name, making it a popular destination for year-round trips.

Bezovec's location is its great advantage — it rises above the landscape conveniently close to Piešťany while offering a mountain setting of forests and calm. As the highest point of the Nízky Inovec, it's a natural draw for hikers seeking views and clean air. The recreational resort around the peak adds further options for relaxation and sport for visitors of all ages.

In winter, Bezovec is a place people come to for skiing, thanks to the ski resort located here. In the warmer months, the surroundings turn into a base for hiking and walks through the forests of the Považský Inovec. Thanks to the combination of recreational infrastructure and mountain nature, Bezovec suits families, couples, and groups of friends looking for active leisure close to civilisation.

Its proximity to Piešťany makes Bezovec an ideal addition to a stay in this spa region. You can combine relaxation in the spa town with a trip to the mountains, hiking to the highest peak of the Nízky Inovec, or winter skiing. Accommodation around Piešťany and Nové Mesto nad Váhom makes Bezovec an appealing destination for a day trip or a longer active stay in the nature of western Slovakia.
