Tatranská Lomnica
Lomnický štít is one of the most famous peaks of the High Tatras and for a long time was the highest point accessible to the ordinary visitor. A cable car from Tatranská Lomnica via Skalnaté pleso lake carries hikers all the way to the summit, opening up a breathtaking panoramic view of the Tatra peaks and the Spiš region. A historic observatory and a café with panoramic windows stand at the top. Thanks to its location right above Tatranská Lomnica, it's an ideal destination from accommodation below the Tatras.
