Modrý kostolík (Kostol svätej Alžbety)
Bratislava
The Blue Church, officially the Church of St Elizabeth, was built in the early 20th century by Hungarian architect Ödön Lechner in the Hungarian Art Nouveau style. The façade, mosaics and roof tiles gleam with light-blue glaze, which continues in the delicately decorated interior. It is one of the city's most popular and photographed landmarks and stands just steps from the historic centre. A pleasant walk from the Old Town or nearby accommodation will take you there.
