Połonina Wetlińska

Wetlina

Połonina Wetlińska is a vast treeless mountain ridge, typical of the Bieszczady with its grassy meadows and far-reaching views. At around 1,230 m along the ridge stands the well-known Chatka Puchatka mountain shelter, a favourite destination for hikers. The open terrain offers panoramic scenery over the surrounding valleys and ridges. Villages such as Wetlina at the foot of the mountain make an excellent base for hiking and accommodation amid the wild nature of the Bieszczady.
