Múzeum kysuckej dediny a úvraťová železnica, Vychylovka

The Museum of the Kysuce Village in Vychylovka is a large open-air museum with dozens of original wooden houses, farm buildings and sacred structures from the Kysuce countryside. The jewel of the site is a working historical forest switchback railway that carries visitors through picturesque scenery and is the only one of its kind still operating in Europe. A visit offers an authentic look at highlander life as well as a ride on a historic train. It's a popular full-day family trip from accommodation in the Malá Fatra area.
