At 919 m, Szczeliniec Wielki is the highest point of the Table Mountains (Góry Stołowe) and one of their best-known attractions. A nature trail across the summit plateau winds through a maze of bizarre sandstone rocks, narrow clefts and stairways with far-reaching views. The rock formations bear quirky names and offer unforgettable scenery. Nearby villages such as Karłów and Kudowa-Zdrój are convenient bases for hiking and accommodation.
