Karlova Studánka
The Bílá Opava Waterfalls form one of the most beautiful mountain gorges in the Jeseníky Mountains, on the southern slope of Praděd above Karlova Studánka. A nature trail winds through the wild valley past cascades, swirling pools and the tallest waterfall, nearly eight metres high. The route across wooden footbridges, bridges and ladders with chains is adventurous and is usually closed in winter. Accommodation in the spa village of Karlova Studánka is a pleasant base for hiking the gorge and climbing Praděd.
