Vršatské bradlá

Vršatské Podhradie

Vršatské bradlá are striking limestone crags towering above the village of Vršatské Podhradie on the edge of the White Carpathians. They are a sought-after destination for hikers and climbers alike, and both the ridge and the ruins of Vršatec Castle offer some of the finest views over Považie and the Slovak-Moravian borderland. The protected nature reserve shelters rare rock plants and diverse wildlife. Easy hiking trails and proximity to Ilava and Púchov make it an ideal excursion destination during a stay in the region.
