The Broumov Walls are a striking sandstone ridge stretching across the Broumov region, popular with hikers and climbers alike. Trails along the ridge lead to rock labyrinths, gorges and viewpoints such as Vulture's Nest and Koruna, with views over the surrounding countryside. At the most visited spot, Hvězda, stands a Baroque chapel and a mountain hut. A cottage near Police nad Metují or Broumov is a pleasant base for hiking the ridge and the nearby rock cities.
