Přečerpávací vodní elektrárna Dlouhé stráně

The Dlouhé stráně pumped-storage power plant is one of the most impressive engineering achievements in the Czech Republic, its upper reservoir sitting at an altitude of over 1,300 meters, the highest in the country. Inside the mountain, the plant houses one of the most powerful reversible turbines in Europe, and the height difference between the reservoirs exceeds half a kilometer.
