Juráňova dolina
Vitanová
Juráňova Valley is a national nature reserve in the Western Tatras within the cadastral territory of Vitanová, whose most beautiful part is a narrow rocky gorge. A trail of wooden footbridges leads through it above the rushing Juráňov stream, past cascades and rare geomorphological formations known as giant potholes. Walking through the valley is easy and suitable for families with children, starting right in Oravice. Together with the nearby thermal aquapark, it makes an ideal programme for a stay in this part of Orava.
