Markušovce
The Renaissance manor house in Markušovce, dating from 1643, gained its current charming appearance after a rococo remodelling in the late 18th century. Inside is an exhibition of historic furniture, while in the terraced French park stands the Dardanely summer pavilion, home to the only collection of historic keyboard instruments in Slovakia. Chamber classical music concerts are still held there today in a unique atmosphere. The village lies just a short distance from Spišská Nová Ves, making it easy to combine with a visit to Slovak Paradise.
