Kopiec Kościuszki
Kraków
Kopiec Kościuszki is an artificial mound raised in honour of national hero Tadeusz Kościuszko on Sikornik Hill above Kraków. From its top there's a circular view over the entire city, the Vistula valley, and on clear days even the Tatra Mountains. The mound is surrounded by a 19th-century fortress with a small museum and a café. Thanks to its location on the edge of Kraków, it makes a pleasant trip from accommodation in the city or nearby.
