Świdnica

The Church of Peace in Świdnica is the largest timber sacred building in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Protestants built it in the 17th century without a single nail, using only wood and clay, in the space of a single year. The interior surprises visitors with richly decorated Baroque galleries and paintings. It's an outstanding monument to religious tolerance in Lower Silesia.
