Kostnice v Sedlci
Kutná Hora
Sedlec Ossuary is one of the most famous and bizarre monuments in the Czech Republic – the interior of the All Saints' Chapel is decorated with the bones of tens of thousands of people. It's dominated by a huge chandelier made from almost every bone in the human body, as well as the coat of arms of the Schwarzenberg family, also crafted from bones. The site emerged after the cemetery, containing holy soil from Golgotha, became an exceptionally sought-after burial ground. Combined with nearby Kutná Hora, it creates a powerful experience worth staying overnight for in the surrounding area.
