Žleby Chateau is a textbook example of romantic neo-Gothic style and one of the best-preserved chateaux of its kind in the Czech Republic. Originally a medieval castle, it was rebuilt by the Auersperg family into a fairy-tale residence full of knights' halls, historic weapons and original furnishings. The chateau grounds include a deer park with white stags and a manicured English park. It lies just a short distance from Kutná Hora, making it an easy trip from accommodation in the region.
