Trenčianske Teplice Spa is among the oldest and most visited in Slovakia. It lies in the picturesque setting of the Strážovské vrchy hills, at an elevation of around 272 metres. The healing thermal sulphur water is used to treat musculoskeletal disorders; the resort also features the well-known Hammam bath in Moorish-Turkish style.
