The Andrássy Mausoleum in Krásnohorské Podhradie is a unique Art Nouveau building commissioned by Count Dénes Andrássy as a memorial to his beloved wife Franciska. The interior features marble, gold mosaics, stained glass and a magnificent sarcophagus, making it an outstanding work of art. The building stands by the road below Krásna Hôrka Castle and forms a natural addition to a visit there. It is one of the most beautiful funerary monuments in Slovakia and an unforgettable stop while exploring the region.
