Spišská Nová Ves
The Hornád Gorge (Prielom Hornádu) is a canyon up to 16 km long, cut by the Hornád river through the rocky cliffs of Slovak Paradise. The trail runs along metal catwalks, footholds and chains fixed directly above the water, making the crossing an unforgettable experience. Access points are Čingov, Podlesok and Letanovský mlyn, from where the gorge can be combined with routes to the Tomášovský výhľad viewpoint or to Kláštorisko. Thanks to its central location, the area around Spišská Nová Ves is an ideal base for a multi-day stay in Slovak Paradise.
