Prosiecka dolina

The Prosiecka Valley is an impressive karst ravine in the Chočské vrchy that begins with the narrow Vráta gorge above the village of Prosiek. A nature trail follows a stream through rock gates, up ladders and across footbridges to a waterfall at the end of the valley. Along the way, rock walls, caves and rich limestone nature accompany you, making it an eventful hike for families and more experienced hikers alike. It's often combined with the nearby Kvačianska Valley and makes a great destination from accommodation around Liptovská Mara.
