Szrenica
Szklarska Poręba
Szrenica is a distinctive peak in the western Karkonosze (Giant Mountains), 1,362 metres high, reached by a chairlift running straight from Szklarska Poręba. In winter, SkiArena Szrenica operates here — the largest ski resort on the Polish side of the range — while in summer the peak is a starting point for ridge hikes. The summit offers a panorama of the Jelenia Góra Basin and the neighbouring Jizera Mountains, with mountain chalets near the top. Thanks to its easy accessibility it's a popular destination year-round.
