Zamek Kmitów w Lesku
Lesko
The Kmita Castle in Lesko is a late-Gothic noble residence from the 16th century, built in the San River valley. Over the centuries it gained Renaissance and Classicist features, and today serves as a recreational and social centre with a landscaped park and amphitheatre. The historic town of Lesko is further enriched by a Renaissance synagogue and an old Jewish cemetery. Thanks to its location on the edge of the Bieszczady Mountains, Lesko is a popular base for visitors to the region.
