Ždiar
Ždiar is one of the few preserved Goral villages in Slovakia, known for its colourful wooden houses and lively folk traditions below the Belianske Tatras. At the Ždiarsky dom museum, visitors can see an original interior, traditional costumes and the way of life of the highlanders, and even try on traditional dress. The village is also an excellent gateway to the Belianske Tatras, Bachledka and the Pieniny. Its authentic atmosphere and location make it a pleasant place to stay in the northern part of the Tatras.
