Bazylika Nawiedzenia NMP (Wambierzyce)

The Basilica of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wambierzyce is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Silesia, nicknamed the "Silesian Jerusalem." A monumental stone staircase leads up to the impressive Baroque building, and inside a medieval wooden statuette of the Madonna is venerated. Around it stretches an extensive Calvary with a hundred chapels and a famous moving nativity scene with over 800 figures. Thanks to its location near the Table Mountains, Wambierzyce is a great destination during a stay in the Kłodzko Valley.
