The Bieszczady Forest Railway is a historic narrow-gauge line that originally hauled timber and today carries tourists through the scenic Bieszczady landscape. Trains pulled by steam and diesel locomotives depart from Majdan station near Cisna, passing through forests, streams and meadows. The slow ride in open carriages is a popular experience, especially for families with children. The village of Cisna and its surroundings offer pleasant accommodation amid nature.
