Prašice
Duchonka is a popular recreation resort by the reservoir of the same name near the village of Prašice in the Topoľčany district, about 18 km northwest of Topoľčany and 2 km from Prašice, at an elevation of 275 metres.
The resort is surrounded by a birch-and-pine grove in the foothills of the Považský Inovec range, creating pleasant conditions for lakeside recreation.
Activities are varied – swimming, hiking and cycling on the surrounding trails, fishing and water sports. In summer the resort also has a lively nightlife.
The site itself has many company-owned and private cottages, making Duchonka perfect for a multi-day stay in nature. Staying right by the water lets you enjoy the summer atmosphere to the fullest.
