Hrubá Skála
Hrubá Skála
Hrubá Skála Château stands on steep sandstone rocks at the edge of the Hruboskalsko rock city and is one of the most photographed spots in the Bohemian Paradise. Originally a medieval castle, it was gradually rebuilt by the Lords of Valdštejn into a comfortable noble residence. Today it operates as a hotel, but the courtyard and the lookout tower, with views of the rock towers and forests, are open to the public. A nearby cottage or guesthouse is an ideal base for exploring Hruboskalsko and its surrounding viewpoints.
