Jaskinia Mroźna is the most famous show cave in the Polish Tatras, hidden in the slope of the Kościeliska Valley. Its nearly horizontal passage, several hundred metres long, winds past named chambers, stalactites and limestone formations. The tour is easy and suitable for families, though it's a good idea to bring your own light and warmer clothing. The entrance is right in the Kościeliska Valley near Zakopane, making the area a practical base for accommodation.
