Kalvária Prešov
Prešov
Prešov Calvary is an extensive baroque complex from the early 18th century, once considered the second most beautiful Calvary in the Kingdom of Hungary. It comprises fourteen chapels, the Church of the Holy Cross, catacombs and the Chapel of the Holy Stairs, linked by a path climbing the hill above the city. The summit offers a panorama of Prešov, from which the surrounding castles can also be seen. This peaceful pilgrimage site makes a pleasant walk for visitors staying right in the city.
