Kaštieľ v Strážkach

The manor house in Strážky is a national cultural monument located in the town of Spišská Belá, in its local part Strážky in eastern Slovakia. It is among the most valuable examples of Renaissance architecture in Slovakia — rightly regarded as a gem of the style and one of the most beautiful noble residences in the region beneath the Tatras.

The manor's value is confirmed by its heritage protection. It was declared a cultural monument together with the adjoining park on October 30, 1963, and is listed in the Central Register of the Monument Fund under number 983. The protection therefore extends not only to the building itself but also to the surrounding park, which together with the manor forms a cohesive and remarkably impressive whole.
