Połonina Caryńska

Brzegi Górne

Połonina Caryńska is one of the best-known treeless ridges in the Bieszczady Mountains, covered by vast alpine meadows known as połoniny. The climb from Przełęcz Wyżniańska or from Brzegi Górne rewards visitors with a wide circular view of Tarnica, Halicz and the neighbouring Połonina Wetlińska. Thanks to its open terrain and rare high-mountain flora, it's a highlight experience of the Bieszczady National Park. The settlements below the mountain make an ideal base for multi-day hiking trips in the region.
