Karpacz
Śnieżka (1,603 m) is the highest peak of the Krkonoše Mountains and of the whole of Polish Silesia, rising on the border with Czechia. On its rounded summit stands the distinctive disc-shaped weather station and the Chapel of St Lawrence. In good visibility, the summit offers a far-reaching panoramic view of both sides of the range. Karpacz on the Polish side is a popular base with a wide range of accommodation.
