Szklarska Poręba
Szklarska Poręba is a well-known mountain resort on the western edge of the Krkonoše, traditionally associated with glassmaking. In winter it attracts skiers with a resort on the slopes of Szrenica, complete with a cable car and ski runs, while in summer it offers a dense network of hiking trails and waterfalls. From the town you can head up to the Krkonoše ridge or to nearby natural attractions. Thanks to its location near the Czech border, it's a convenient base for accommodation on both sides of the range.
