It is dominated by a romantic battlemented tower, rebuilt in the 19th century, offering a fairy-tale view over Ponitrie, Tribeč and Zobor. The first written mention of the castle dates back to 1235. Thanks to its proximity to the Duchonka recreation area, it is an ideal destination for day-trippers and families alike.
