Státní hrad a zámek Jindřichův Hradec
Jindřichův Hradec
Jindřichův Hradec State Castle and Chateau is, after Prague and Český Krumlov, the third-largest castle and chateau complex in the country, spread along the shore of Vajgar Pond. It combines a medieval Gothic fortress with a magnificent Renaissance residence, including the famous round music pavilion known as the Rondel. Visitors can admire the rich interiors, courtyards, and arcades overlooking the water. The historic town is a good base for exploring the Třeboň region and all of South Bohemia.
