Chochołów
Chochołów
Chochołów is a historic highlander village famous for the best-preserved traditional wooden architecture in Podhale. Dozens of original log houses line the main road, still maintained and whitewashed twice a year by their owners. The village has its own place in history thanks to the 1846 uprising and a lovely wooden church. Its location near Zakopane makes Chochołów a peaceful base for accommodation away from the town's bustle.
