Długi Targ a Żuraw (Gdańsk)

Gdańsk

The Main Town is Gdańsk's pride – the ceremonial Royal Route runs from the Golden Gate through the Long Market to the Motława River, lined with colourful burgher houses and the Neptune Fountain. The waterfront is dominated by the Żuraw, the largest medieval port crane in Europe, now part of the National Maritime Museum. The entire old town is easy to explore on foot and offers cafés, amber shops and river views. Accommodation in or near the centre is an ideal base for discovering all of Pomerania.
