Hrad a zámok Bečov nad Teplou
Bečov nad Teplou
The complex in Bečov nad Teplou comprises a 14th-century Gothic castle and an adjoining Baroque chateau. Its greatest treasure is the reliquary of Saint Maurus, one of the most precious goldsmith works in Czechia, which was hidden beneath a chapel floor during the 20th century and only rediscovered in 1985. The buildings stand above the valley of the Teplá River.
