Kasprowy Wierch
Zakopane
Kasprowy Wierch (1,987 m) is one of the best-known peaks in the Tatras, reached by a historic gondola cable car from Kuźnice. In winter it offers some of the most attractive skiing terrain in Poland, with long runs in the Gąsienicowa and Goryczkowa basins. From the summit, which lies on the Polish-Slovak border, a panoramic view opens over the main Tatra ridge. Zakopane at the foot of the mountain offers a wide choice of accommodation for both winter and summer holidays.
