Katarínka (kláštor svätej Kataríny)
Dechtice
Katarínka is the mysterious ruin of a monastery and church of St. Catherine of Alexandria, hidden in the forests of the Malé Karpaty above the village of Dechtice. Since the 1990s, volunteers and students have been gradually restoring it during summer camps, lending the site a unique atmosphere. The ruin can only be reached on foot along a forest trail, making the trip a pleasant nature walk. This peaceful, spiritual place is a sought-after destination for hikers and pilgrims alike around Dechtice and Dobrá Voda.
