Kolonádový most
Piešťany
The functionalist Colonnade Bridge, designed by architect Emil Belluš, spans the Váh River and links the town center to the world-famous Spa Island. At its entrance stands a bronze statue of a man breaking his crutch – a symbol of the healing power of Piešťany's thermal springs and mud. Along the covered promenade you'll find cafés, stained-glass windows and views over the spa parks and historic treatment houses. Thanks to its central location, Piešťany is an excellent base for spa relaxation and trips throughout the Malé Karpaty region.
