Propasť Macocha

Vilémovice

Macocha is a chasm in the Moravian Karst formed by the collapse of a cave ceiling. Its depth of 138.5 metres makes it the deepest chasm of its kind in Central Europe. The waters of the Punkva stream flow at the bottom, while two viewing platforms stand on the upper rim. The chasm is part of the guided tour route through the Punkva Caves.
