Rožnov pod Radhoštěm

The Wallachian Open Air Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm is the oldest and most visited open-air museum in the Czech Republic, founded back in 1925. It consists of the Wooden Town, the Mill Valley with working water structures, and the sprawling Wallachian Village with dozens of original log houses and farm buildings. Throughout the year, crafts, folklore festivals and customs come alive here, giving visitors an authentic taste of old Wallachian life. Rožnov is also an excellent base for exploring the Beskids and nearby sights.
