Wielka Siklawa is the largest waterfall in the Polish Tatras, cascading nearly seventy metres over a rocky ledge below the Valley of Five Polish Lakes. The water from the lakes splits here into several streams, and on sunny days rainbows often appear above it. The waterfall is a rewarding hiking destination via the Roztoki Valley and naturally combines with the climb to the five lakes. Zakopane and the surrounding villages, with their rich accommodation offer, serve well as a base.
