Buchlovice Chateau is a charming baroque residence built in the style of an Italian villa, with two facing wings and a fountain at the centre of the courtyard. Its interiors open onto the sumptuous salons of the Berchtold family, while the nearly twenty-hectare park is one of the most valuable historic gardens in Czechia. Rare trees and rhododendrons grow here, and a popular fuchsia exhibition is held on the grounds. Combined with the nearby Buchlov Castle, it makes an ideal excursion destination in Slovácko.
