Valtice Château is a monumental Baroque residence of the Liechtenstein family, which together with Lednice forms the UNESCO-listed Lednice-Valtice Area. The richly decorated halls, chapel and château park recall the former splendour of one of Europe's most important noble families. The château cellars house the National Wine Centre, where you can taste the finest Moravian wines. Accommodation in Valtice is an ideal base for cycling through the area and visiting the surrounding vineyards.
