Boubínský prales
Kubova Huť
Boubín Primeval Forest is one of the oldest nature reserves in Czechia, protecting a precious remnant of original mountain primeval forest on the slopes of Boubín. Along a nature trail with a wooden boardwalk section, you'll see centuries-old spruces, firs and beeches, as well as decaying fallen giants that are home to countless species. The route around a small pond is easy and suitable for the whole family. A cottage in the Šumava region nearby is a pleasant base for hikes to Boubín and the surrounding forests.
