Bílá strž is the highest waterfall on the Czech side of the Šumava mountains – the water tumbles here in several stages, the tallest of which measures around seven metres. The waterfall lies in the deep rocky gorge of the Bílý potok stream, within the nature reserve of the same name, and is reached via a marked trail, for example from Černé jezero (Black Lake). Right above the cascade is a viewing terrace giving you a full view of the falls. Thanks to its location near Železná Ruda and Hojsova Stráž, it's an ideal destination for accommodation around Královský hvozd.
