Lipno nad Vltavou
The Treetop Walkway near Lipno nad Vltavou is the first Czech path leading at treetop height, wheelchair- and stroller-accessible. Visitors walk an almost 700-metre trail with experiential stops leading to a 40-metre lookout tower above the Lipno dam. From the spiral tower you can slide down a long dry toboggan run, a special treat for children. An apartment or cottage near Lipno is a great base for trips through the Šumava region and to the lake.
