Luhačovice

Luhačovice is a town in the Zlín district of the Zlín Region, lying sixteen kilometres southeast of the district and regional capital Zlín. It sits on the little Šťávnice river in a picturesque part of southeastern Moravia, surrounded by rolling countryside that gives the town its peaceful character.

The town covers a cadastral area of 33 square kilometres, i.e. 3,299 hectares, and contains 1,099 houses. It has a population of around 5,000, making Luhačovice a pleasantly intimate town where urban comfort meets the closeness of nature. This balance is one of the reasons visitors enjoy coming here for rest.

Luhačovice is a sought-after destination for those seeking relaxation and a peaceful environment. Walks through the town and its surroundings, a pleasant atmosphere, and a location amid the Moravian countryside create ideal conditions for a relaxing stay. It is a place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy a gentler pace away from city bustle.

Thanks to its proximity to Zlín, Luhačovice is also a good base for exploring the wider southeastern Moravian region. If you choose accommodation here, you can combine relaxation right in town with trips into the surrounding countryside and regional exploration. A multi-day stay lets you make the most of Luhačovice's peaceful atmosphere and round out your relaxation with walks, nature, and the experiences offered by this corner of the Zlín Region.
